Pristine Imprints is a custom apparel company ran by a husband and wife team in San Jose, California. Anthony and Chi were both born and raised in San Jose. The company’s humble beginnings trace back to 2005, when Anthony was coaching badminton at a local high school. He often encountered issues with the quality and timeliness of the uniform orders for his team. With a screen-printing machine just sitting in his garage, he finally decided to take on the task of printing his team’s uniforms. He could then not only control their quality but also have the flexibility to accommodate his team’s needs.

Fast forward to over a decade later, Pristine Imprints has developed into a family business, with Chi changing career paths to commit to the company full time. Anthony and Chi’s interest in serving their community, as well as their shared interest in graphic design and creative projects, drove them to continue building this company together. It has always been a dream of theirs to work together, and Pristine Imprints is truly their passion project.

Starting with only one client, the local high school where Anthony coached, Pristine Imprints' client list steadily grew to include other local schools and universities. Many former students from the high school continued reaching out to Anthony for apparel orders as they went on to college. This is a testament to the integrity of Pristine Imprints as a business, as one that is reliable and trustworthy.

Besides building relationships with local schools, Pristine Imprints has also fostered relationships with local Scout and church groups. Having been involved in Scouting since their teen years, Anthony and Chi became the go-to people for Scouting apparel orders for Scout groups across Santa Clara County. By word of mouth among friends and family, Pristine Imprints has also been able to provide services to youth sports teams, health care organizations, and local companies.

One aspect that runs true since the beginning of Pristine Imprints is the sense of community. Anthony and Chi simply want to make sure that different entities in their community have access to quality customized apparel from a friend in their own town. For the past decade, clients have learned about Pristine Imprints all from word of mouth. One of the best things of being in this business is meeting new clients and learning about what they do in the local area. It’s really something special when Anthony and Chi discover that they have a mutual friend with or grew up in the same neighborhood as a client.

Despite Anthony having a full-time job, both he and Chi have remained reliable in providing custom apparel for their clients. Owning a business does not come easy, and has its ups and downs, but their community inspires them to keep on working hard to be a business that can serve others. Pristine Imprints will continue to strive to be a resource that community members can depend on.
